Install SessionPod on Windows

This guide explains how to download, install, and launch SessionPod on Windows.

System requirements

Before installing, make sure your Windows device meets the following minimum requirements:

• Operating system: Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
• Memory: 4 GB RAM (8 GB or more recommended)
• Disk space: At least 200 MB available

Installation steps

Step 1: Download the client installer

1. Open your browser and visit the official SessionPod download page.
2. Click the Download for Windows button.
3. Your browser will start downloading the SessionPod installer. Wait for the download to finish.

Step 2: Run the setup wizard

1. Double-click the downloaded SessionPod installer and wait for the installation to complete.
2. If Windows shows a User Account Control (UAC) prompt, click Yes to allow it to run.

Step 3: Finish and launch for the first time

1. After installation, click the SessionPod icon on your desktop to launch the app.

App data directory

When the app starts for the first time, it automatically selects the disk with the most available space as the data directory location.

The data directory stores browser-generated data, such as loaded images, videos, cookies, browsing history, and other browser data. If you create many browser profiles, this data may take up a large amount of disk space. We recommend choosing a disk with plenty of free space as the data directory. A removable drive is not recommended.
